NOTICE TO ALL ELECTRONIC DEATH REGISTRATION SYSTEM (EDRS) USERS

Due to New York State Department of Health system maintenance, the Electronic Death Registration System (EDRS) will be unavailable Saturday June 5, 2021. The anticipated outage is from 7am 4pm.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR EDRS USERS?

  • If you have an active EDRS case, enter case data and sign, certify, or register before 5am on Saturday, June 5.
  • If you have a new case during the outage, please plan for data entry after the system access is re-established on Saturday afternoon.

Please share this information with your staff.

Refrain from sending inquiries to the EDRS team during the outage, as the team will be unable to assist you during this time. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
